To start the installation on your Ubuntu PC, open a terminal window. Ubuntu Linux users will be able to install the Zulip application through a third-party software repository provided by the developers. Alternatively, check out the paid plan by clicking the button below the “Standard” box. Please go to ” and select the “Sign Up Now” button under “Free” to get started. Note: To use Zulip on Linux, you must have an account on the website. In this guide, we will go over how to install the app on Linux. Zulip has many cool features like emoji support, individual channels, bots, and much more. It’s a great program for keeping up with co-workers and team members. Let's find out which package that firmware is inĪrnold_oree is "Arnold Opio Oree" on #virt #debian-tech #debianīug in firmware-misc-nonfree (open): «nouveau 0000:01:00.0: firmware: failed to load nouveau/nvd9_fuc084 (-2)» severity: normal opened: last modified. (you may wish to look at the link you just posted for line numbers) Ok, so now I discovered a weird situation: when I try okular something.pdf OR evince something.pdf, no new window opens, and looking at ps aux and grepping for either evince or okular, those processes are missing (I only see the grep process) Jmux is not so sure what scope::application refers to, but that skips at least the latex stuff Jim: aptitude search ~Gworks-with-format::pdf~Gscope::application Sgn_ is "sgn" on #musl-distros #s6 #debian #oftc Icelupin7 is "realname" on #debian #kernelnewbiesĬhipox has quit Jim is "jim" on #debian #pipewire #xonsh #debian-nextĪlexrelis1 is "alexrelis" on #debian-next #debianĪlexrelis has quit Ĭhipox_ is "realname" on #debian #replicant #security #fdroidĪrifendronugroho has quit Hexology is "ZNC - " on #debian #debian-nextĪrunpyasi is "realname" on #packaging #debian-ubuntu #debian #debian-deepin What else can I (or should I) try? I'm open to your suggestions. Unfortunattely that did not work, either. The laptop has an old NVidia card, and I installed the appropriate driver (through `nvidia-detect`). This does not change before or after unplugging/plugging the HDMI cable. When I run `lspci | grep -i hdmi`, I only see an *Audio device.* When I run `xrandr | grep -i hdmi`, I see no results. I know my HDMI cable and external monitor are fine, because another machine can use them successfully. I would rather diagnose the software before diagnosing any hardware. I'm running Debian 11 with Xfce 4.16 on a Dell Latitude E6420 laptop, and I'm trying to figure out why the HDMI port is not working for me. I'm going to post my question again, for all the folks in here who have just joined.
